The DIVs below have a red backgrounds, but the text inside is also given red backgrounds, which is wrong. This problem shows up when:

• the text overflows out the side of a box:
  Loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnngggg.
• the box has a background image of a different colour:
  Some text.
• the text overflows out the bottom of a box:
  Lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of text.
